Tess Everett shoots for TimiAlaere.
TimiAlaere, a new made-in-Australia women’s wear fashion label founded by Timi Onduku-Pedley makes its debuts into the fashion scene with a distinct design concept of eclectic, cross-cultural fusion of fashion aesthetics. Timi fuses textiles, colours, originality and innovative illustrated images to launch TimiAlaere’s first line, the Afrizine collection.
Drawing on a wealth of inspirations from the West, her African heritage and a myriad of other cultures, Timi has created the 2012 Afrizine trans-seasonal collection. It is a timeless collection of versatile, playful basics, with simple easily wearable shapes that are chic with a touch of boho flair and exotic glam.
Using Timi’s exclusive and original illustrated images of women adorning a variety of head wrap designs; inspired by the universal head wrap styles of women around the world, in particular, African women’s intriguing and flamboyant head wrap culture. These head wrap images are hand printed on eco-friendly, soft and luxe modal jersey tees, tank dresses and tank tops, with complementing cardigans that are perfect layering pieces for warmer and cooler days. The effortlessly sexy limited edition print shorts, made with the quality and vivid cotton wax print hollandaise textiles produced and sourced from Europe, adds a trendy and polished touch to the first line.

This is a recent shoot photographed by Tess Everett who worked in collaboration with Rosemary Sarr (stylist) and Greer Melrose (hair and makeup) for personal work and magazine submission.
The focus was on expressive and current trends from various retailers, such as Adrian Lewis, Easten Market, Maria Rudman, Ugo Caeciatori and Grace. Clothing from Kirrily Johnston, Bassike, Aurelio Costarella and American Apparel.

“Capturing the Spirit of Cambodia”
Tess Everett welcomes you to her exhibition, "Capturing the Spirit of Cambodia."
This photographic exhibition is based on Tess's recent trip to Cambodia which inspired her to put together this magical collection of images.
Opening night is Thursday 2nd June 6-8:30pm. Exhibition runs from May 31st to June 18th.
